Some people are just fckn idiots! Just a vent!
Just had to vent! - Driving home from work and this woman is texting, continuously, for at least 10 miles, driving on Rt 347. And to make it even worse, the front of her car was already damaged, with the bumper smashed and half hanging off - because she probably hit someone or something while texting! 
ETA: Not to mention, she had a stethoscope hanging from her rear-view mirror so she probably works in healthcare

I see so many people looking at their phones/texting while driving. Makes me nuts. I wish I was a cop sometimes to give them a ticket.

Ugh I can't just on my way home I saw a guy reading the newspaper looking up every now and then, just about everyone on their phone and them the winner today- texting and eating a cheeseburger

It just goes to show. You can eat organic, get vaccines, go to the gym...and until things change, some d-bag can end your life or that of someone you love over a text.

There should be scanners that give tickets with high fees to someone texting in the driver's seat while the car is moving.

DH thinks texting should be disabled when a vehicle is moving.

Just got back from Disney early this morning.
Honestly didn't see many idiot drivers whole way and back until we hit Long Island this morning. Two people STOPPED dead in front of us on the Southern State and were about to drag race.

I am sickened by the number of people I see texting and driving every day. I hope they develop some sort of technology that stops it from happening...like your phone locks if you are in the driver's seat zone or something unless it's to call 911. I don't even know how that could happen, but I'm sure someone will figure it out.

They've had apps for quite a while that do that, but you have to download it yourself and activate it. It's typically based on the GPS, so it senses when you are moving faster than a walking speed.
