My son got a couple of shots and then slept for 6 hours! Woke up, had a bottle, and went back to sleep. He slept all night!

We just had ours on Saturday. They ded an exam, checked his milestones and he was supposed to have 2 vaccinations: the pevnar ( I can't recall if that's the right name...its whooping cough, Hib and two others rolled into one) and the other for the roto virus.

What most babies do at this age:
Social and Emotional
Begins to smile at people
Can briefly calm himself (may bring hands to mouth and suck on hand)
Tries to look at parent
Language/Communication
Coos, makes gurgling sounds
Turns head toward sounds
Baby raising head and chest when lying on stomach
Cognitive (learning, thinking, problem-solving)
Pays attention to faces
Begins to follow things with eyes and recognize people at a distance
Begins to act bored (cries, fussy) if activity doesn’t change
Movement/Physical Development
Can hold head up and begins to push up when lying on tummy
Makes smoother movements with arms and legs
