Reporters shooting "so how so you feel about your wife being shot"
On today show:
Geist: so we're you watching live? (To husband of interview)
DH - yes I was
Geist- so what were you thinking in that moment?
Seriously?????? The moment he saw his wife shot on national TV?
Even Savana Guthrie asked the woman reporters BF about how it felt to wake up this morning without this beautiful sole in his life.
sG also said "the 2 of you were in love and I'm sure that loss is so crushing this morning.
You think?
And the camera and finances wedding dress arrived in the mail yesterday.
I'm sick over this. Over these 2 people who are gone and how it became acceptable for the news to have these kinds of interviews.
Eta: NOT by my choice I saw the cover of the daily news today. Shows 3 pictures from the gunmans perspective AS HE IS PULLING THE TRIGGER AND MURDERING THE FEMALE REPORTER.

I dont disagree with you, I dont know how you ask someone questions like that after a horrific scene like that yesterday. But why are these people on a talk show THE NEXT MORNING??? I know that everyone grieves differently but I cant imagine agreeing to be interviewed one day after losing someone like that in my life.

This exactly. I agree the line of questioning is a little ridiculous BUT these people did agree to go on a talk show so you have to expect questions like they asked.
If I lost my DH I would be a complete and total wreck, the LAST thing I would want to do is talk to anyone, let alone reporters on TV.

Absurd. But for real I wouldn't be on a talk show or talk to the media the next day, but I guess everyone's different.
This is such a sad and scary story. Senseless. Prayers for the victims and their loved ones.

I totally agree. I couldn't be on a show. But, these people are news people. Maybe that is kind of normal for them? They tell stories for a living. So maybe telling the story is a normal/comforting thing? I don't know. Just guessing.
The whole thing is sickening. Even worse are the comments on the articles with people taking his side because he said it they were racist and bullied him. This man was crazy. This wasn't a crime of passion. HE was fired from multiple jobs for his personality issues. This wasn't a race issue. This was a mental health issue.
