I GOT HIS ADDRESS!!
woo hoo!! this evening, while having dinner, DS's recruiting officer sent me DS's new mailing address!!
so excited to send him mail and let him know how much i miss him and how proud i am of him.
if anyone here would like to send him a note/postcard, it would mean the world to me. i will happily share his address with you.

I would love to.
Although I don't know you or your son IRL, thru your posts I sort of feel proud of how this young man has grown and what he has accomplished.
And it is all because of you.
My friend's son had enlisted in the Marines after his HS graduation. Watching this boy grow up to become a man, I also felt proud. I cried when I saw him in his dress blues, as I picked him up at the airport as a surprise for his mom. He has since left the Marines after finishing his tour, but the Marines have not left him.
