lirr from Merillon Ave?
Does anyone take the train from here? Is there a parking lot and do I need a sticker or anything to park there if so? Is there a ticket machine? tia!

yes there is a ticket machine.
parking lot on north side of tracks does not require permit.

I commute from this station. The lot is very small. I take a 7:26am to NYC (I walk), and there are never any spots at this time just a heads up!!

Unless you take the 559AM train you wont get a spot in that lot (and even at that time it is slim pickins)

If you have to drive to a station - I would definitely go to Mineola - trains go there much more frequently - especially in the off hours. I used to walk to Merillon Ave - so I'm no help regarding parking - but many times I took the train to Mineola and cabbed it home because it was faster.
