Activities from my childhood I can't find!
I'm wondering if anyone has come across either of the following; they are favorites from my childhood that I'd love to do with dd, but I can't find them anywhere!
1) paint with water books: the ones where the 'color' is already on the picture so you're just really saturating it with the water to see the color better. All I can find are the m&d ones where there's an actual palette of watercolor paint at the top of each page.
2) cardboard jigsaw puzzles that are in a cardboard frame, and the outline of each piece can be seen in the backing of the puzzle (sort of hard to explain what I mean!)

Perfect! Thanks!
I remember stocking up on them in Shane's in levittown when I was a kid! I'm sure they were so much cheaper then, or my mom would have never gone for me getting so many!

On sale at ac moore they're pretty cheap. I was disappointed dd didn't really like them but I still liked doing them myself when she would get bored! They're very therapeutic!

As for the paint books, I've found them in the dollar tree! I have a couple of the puzzles you mention, but they are kinda old... Like prob 10 yrs or so (hand me downs) and I haven't seen much of them lately.

Aqua doodle and Melissa and Doug both sell what you are looking for for water painting.
The wooden puzzles can also be found by Melissa and Doug.

This is the only puzzle I could find. It's close but not exactly what you're looking for.
