Looking for a part time morning program near Valley Stream that will change diapers for age 3. Prefer a church setting because they seem to be much less $.

(I called Little Saints and loved them but they are all full for mornings.)

Do all nursery schools / preschools (that are not in a daycare setting) for around age 3 require kids to be potty trained?

From the ones I know yes they do.

I'm sure it depends on the school. My DD goes to a nursery school 2x week for 2 1/2 hours a day and they do not require they be potty trained BUT they will not change diapers if they poop. They actually call you to come to the school and do it.

From what I understand, usually it's 4 and not 3

Oh that's right. That's what I meant. Thanks, I edited my post title to be more clear.

This arrangement doesn't work for me bc I'd have twins in nursery and I'm home with a newborn.

My church preschool at 3 years old were ok with our kids being in pull ups. But if they had a bad poop accident they would call to come clean your child. This happened A few times with my son. If it was an easy clean up they would change him. It really depends on the school. A lot of schools that I called required potty training. My DD was trained but DS was not.

Little Saints in West Hempstead said that they don't need to be potty trained for the 3 year old class. From what I remember, they will change diapers.

This is how my preschool was. And a few years ago when I was looking into schools for my girls almost all of them I spoke to said they would call me if they had an accident, they don't change diapers.

It depends in their health dept license. They have to have a different health license to change diapers

DS went a Catholic nursery school for two years. For the 3 year old program, they strongly preferred potty trained but would allow pull ups.

Like pp, they will have you change poopy diapers unless they have a daycare license.

The Wooden Shoe in Valley Stream is great. They change diapers no matter what's in them.
There is also Grace Methodist on Merrick in VS.
