Help! DD's lovie smells awful no matter how often I wash it...
Any suggestions to make it less stinky?! It's barf worthy....

I just ordered a spray called zero odor. Let me see if i can find you a link. I bet it works. I got the zero odor for pets and it works for my new kittys litter box.

Buy Arm and Hammer Washing Soda. Yellow box in the laundry aisle of Stop and Shop.
Fill washer with HOT water and this. Add your normal detergent
Put the lovey in and let it circulate a bit. Halfway through the wash cycle stop the machine and let it soak for several hours then let the machine finish. (If you have an extra rinse cycle use this too)
That usually does the trick for us

Throw white vinegar into the wash. Works like a charm. I use it to take out the mildew smell if I forget the clothes in the washer. Takes out the smell every time so I'm sure it would work in this instance too. (I usually use 1 cup).

Oh its a toy or blanket that a baby or lil kid is very attached too and usually brings it everywhere with them lol

The arm and hammer laundry soap (not their detergent, it's sort of like a booster) or 20 mule team borax.

Yes that's what I recommended above. It's actually called washing soda.
It works great for getting out stains too if you soak in it

Throw a cup of vinegar in with the wash. It'll definitely help. I do it all the time with stinky laundry. I keep a gallon in the laundry room specifically for things like that.
