So Tired....
My daughter won't sleep at night, OK, not all night. But every 90 minutes she starts to cry. I give her a pacifier and usually she goes back to sleep. Every night at around 3 it seems she won't go back to sleep unless she is in the swing. At 5 she wakes up again screaming and won't sleep unless she in the bed with us (I put her on my chest). Sometimes I feed her for about a minute and then give her the pacifier and she stays asleep- so I know she's not hungry.
I am SO TIRED!!
She honestly seems to be in pain. I think she is teething. But when she in the bed with us on my chest, she falls right asleep. I Just don't want this to become a habit. This morning i actually had to wake her up at 8:30 to feed her and get her ready for daycare.
This has been happening Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun and Monday night.
This is a child who slept through the night at 4 weeks. I don't know what I can do to make her sleep through the night again.

Re: So Tired....
I used to worry about DD getting into a bad habit - either by being her swing to nap, or sleeping in bed with us. Honestly - they grow out of it.
I would do what you have to now, to get some needed

Re: So Tired....
How old is she? I'll tell you this - Alex was waking every 2 hours until she was about 7 months old. I nearly lost my job and was fighting with DH every day. We went to her pediatrician for her regular visit and he asked, offhand, so Alex is sleeping through the night now, right? I looked at him in shock, started tearing up and said NO she is NOT. He looked me straight in the eye and said, Beth, it's time to start ignoring her. You have my permission. So, that night, we went home and let Alex cry a little when she woke up. The first night was hell, the second wasn't so bad, and by the third, she was sleeping about 7 hours.
I don't know what's waking your daughter up - it could be teething, could be gas, or it could just be that she's craving mommy and daddy time in the middle of the night. Do what works for YOU to get the sleep that you need. If it is teething, have you tried using tylenol or motrin?

DS is doing the same thing... I think its teething as well... My mom seems to think that he misses me during the day so he wants to be near/with me while he's sleeping. If he's not on my chest he wakes up every hour and a half!
Hang in there!!! I hope the grow out of it
