Meniscus surgery
DH just had this. They removed about 80% of his meniscus. He is in a lot of pain, more than he thought he would be. He's elevating, icing & taking his pain pills. Any other recs on ways to help him feel better and/or did anyone have an experience with this surgery? How long did the recovery (the pain really) last?

Meniscus surgery
This stinks! My DH actually has an appt with orthopedist this week to get his meniscus looked at. Hoping he wont need the surgery. Did they tell you how long the recovery period likely will be (curious!) Best wishes for a healthy and speedy recovery for your DH!!

Re: Meniscus surgery
Thanks ladies. The doctor said the recovery time really depends on what he had to do once he was in there. We have a follow up today so hopefully will know more soon.
