After 26 years, but still planning to work together...


Reba McEntire and her husband Narvel Blackstock are separating after 26 years of marriage, PEOPLE has confirmed.

In a joint statement released on Monday, a representative for the country star, 60, and Blackstock, 58, said that they had been separated for the past several months but would continue to work together. (Blackstock is also McEntire's manager.)

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other," the statement continued. "They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time."

It is not clear if the pair have officially filed for divorce.
