This was at benefit concert she gave in Nashville this weekend for a charity my friend is involved in. We were lucky enough to go and all I can say is - HOLY CRAP! She is amazing in person.
I know she's had a lot of work - she admits it but she looks great even up close! I think she looks better in person than in the photos.

She said it repeatedly Friday night. She's very friendly and warm in person and (except for the boobs and the hair), this tiny little slip of a woman. She is really itty-bitty.
Best part about her - she was playing 2 benefit shows this weekend (for 2 different charities) and not only did she perform for free, but her band also performed for free and she gave a donation equal to her normal performance fee to the charities. She also made sure that no one working that night (lighting, stage hands, etc.) got paid from the proceeds of the concert - she paid them all out of pocket so that the charities got 100% of the ticket sales. I was very impressed by that. For that reason alone, she may be one of my favorite performers.

I love her so much. I can remember when i was little playing dress up and saying I was Dolly Parton... and then my mom and grandma would tell me I had everything but the boobs... Little did they know a few years later my boobs would be bigger than hers naturally (neither of them had big boobs, so I don't think they ever thought I would).
