Baby boy hairstyles/cuts
My baby DS has some yucky cowlicks and hair now growing over his ears lol. It's not that long, but needs some styling. Before DH takes him for a haircut, I have do do something with it. I think I can do a fauxhawk and maybe a flip up in the front with some gel...
Do I want to put gel in his hair? 
Please help me out with some suggestions. I'm used to baldies and bows!

Ugh i feel your pain. Ds is 17 months and his hair is pin straight on top and getting long but in the back by his neck he has a curly rat tail. It is so long and like a corkscrew. It looks ridiculous lol. Problem is my child will not sit still for a haircut if his life depended on it and i know i would make a disaster oit of it lol. I dont see why you couldn't use gel, i would just hate having to get in the habit of always "doing" his hair. It is one if the perks of me having a boy :)

I buzz DS1's head (on a 5). It's the quickest thing to do, doesn't cost me anything, and doesn't require styling.

We do a fauxhawk. We just use water and it stays up. Hold it in place for a little bit and it stays for a long time. We haven't needed any gel but people keep on saying, oh you put gel in his hair.
