I also find that with dresses like that, they tend to make you look bigger in the hips and azz than you are.
I have tried them on and been like- since when is my azz the size of Kim Ks? 
I feel like that full skirt just adds bulk sometimes

I agree. I think it takes a certain person/body to pull these skater dresses off. I personally cannot. I also felt like a 5 year old when I tried a few on.
I also think she just needs to go away and not come back out until she learns she is no longer the same size she was in 1993!
