Ped gastro rec?
We went to dr Gold for our other DD, but can't get until next week with our new baby. I want to see if maybe another dr can get us in sooner. I suspect reflux so I don't want to make her wait that long. Who else does everyone recommend?

Ped gastro rec?
I saw dr. Kessler at good Sam with my daughter and he was good but then I just went to Dr. Gold with my son and wow, I loved him so much better. I feel like anyone will have at least a week wait, so I like make the appt with dr. Gold just in case you can't find anyone sooner.

Completely agree with all of this.
A week wait for a non-emergency situation is not long for a specialist. I had to wait 3 weeks the first time I brought my infant. In my opinion, you are better off waiting for Dr Gold than seeing any other GI anyway.

I ended up getting in with someone with choens for thurs.

I brought Angelo to the Cohens group. They were really great with him and was able to diagnose his milk allergy (we already knew he had horrible reflux though)

I got an apt with someone with Cohens in Babylon. But of course I mistakenly gave her a bottle with medium flow nipple and not slow and she ate FINE! I remember H doing this (fussing bc I needed to go up a nipple level bc she was mad she couldn't get enough) but she was at least 3 mo at the time. Probably the same weight, but older.

My oldest daughter also saw a doc in the cohens group when she was a baby and had very bad reflux. They were great with her and really helped to contol her reflux and get her to gain weight.
