Minerals Resort
Have a question for my sister... Looking into going to Minerals in August. Is Grand Cascades that much better? She has stayed at Minerals during the winter for skiing but wanted a close getaway with her family and small children now. Minerals was much cheaper than Cascades, but she was unclear about the pool situation. Is there enough to do? Any advice? Thanks :)

Re: Minerals Resort
Neither resort offers a ton of organized activities, but they have golf, foot golf and an adventure center. ActionPark is there too. As far as the resorts, yes Grand Cascades is definitely nicer. But they are both really nice with beautiful pool areas. I have stayed at both and if it was $100 more a night for Grand Cascades I would consider it. If it was $200+ more, I would probably just do Minerals.

Re: Minerals Resort
Thanks for your replies. Minerals was significantly cheaper- she just was not sure of the outside pools. Someone told her there was a sprinkler thing? And outdoor pools with a cliff jump, all at Minerals. Has anyone seen this? Thanks...

I saw the Sprinklers and the cliff jump into the pool recently on a mommy blog. Raising 3 Savvy Ladies is the name I believe

Re: Minerals Resort
Yes, my modern ds jumps off the cliff and my you get one lines the sprinkler area. I personally find .minerals more family friendly and Grand Cascades is more adult oriented.
