What's a great 2/3 night place to go with the family that's a few hours to drive to?

I have so many places I want to visit besides day trips. Still haven't been to Hershey Park and was thinking Vermont too, but not sure where to go there.

My boys are 6 and 4. One more month left till school starts so I don't mind taking a Fall/Winter trip.

Any advise? Doesn't have to be a fortune. We had plans to go to Baltimore in the Spring, but cancelled bc the weekend we were going it was supposed to rain the entire weekend. We wound up doing a couple of day trips and had a blast.

Any ideas for the Fall/Winter or even Spring time. We go away in February to Aruba.
