Carseat Recommendations

I was in an accident last week with my DS, thankfully we're both okay, but I need to replace the carseats in my car once it's repaired. We had the Britax Roundabout (rear facing still) for my DS, age 2, and the Graco Nautilus for my DD, almost 7.

I was going to get another Nautilus for her, she uses it as a highback booster right now but for my DS I was thinking of the Graco Size4Me. Does anyone have that one??................or do you have any other recommendations for my little one? Thanks!! Chat Icon

Re: Carseat Recommendations

I don't know about all the others but I love mine - a Recaro.

And I love it because it rates well, it is easy to convert as time goes on, and it is SUPER easy to get him in/out and strapped in/out.

It was recommended to me by one of the police officers who installs them for the county.

I had always babysat and watched kids throughout college and my 20's and dealt with so many car-seats and hated them all... but this one I really love.

The size4me is a highly recommended seat. It can also be found under the names- fit4me, mysize (not myride), headwise, or contender.

Yup! They're known as the graco clones. The name depends on where it's sold. I'll post a chart that shows their info.

I have the Graco 4Ever All in One and I really like it. It is easy to install and it converts from RF to FF, and high back booster (with Harness) to no back booster.

That's crazy!!! Chat Icon I ended up with the "Size4Me". It seemed like a good seat, wasn't too expensive, and rated very well. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Re: Carseat Recommendations

I have a my size for my parents' car and I hate it. Compared to my britax, it seems so flimsy, and I can never tighten the strap enough. It's fine for the once a month she goes on an outing with them, but I would never ever purchase this for my own car. In fact, it deterred me from looking into the gracos for the next step (high booster).

Really? And see I've been SO happy with the Graco Nautilus for my DD that instead of getting the Britax again for my DS, I thought I'd go with the Graco for him too because I've been so happy. Eek. I hope I made the right choice now!
