It was awesome!! Never been to a concert there. We had the best time. Only thing I would have done different is driven in instead of taking train. We waited a while in Woodside and then in Jamaica. Didn't get home until 1:30. If we drove, we would've been home by 12.

Going tonight!
It was great!!! They put on a great show. I don't know all of their songs, but they played all of my favorites.
And then, they came back for an encore because Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers was there.
Royal Blood was also fantastic!

We drove and there was a ton of traffic getting onto the Expressway because they closed it off, so we had to do a detour....we didn't get home until 1:30!

Ha the reason i posted this was to find out the best way to get there! Why did they close the expressway?!?!
Also what time did the foo fighters take the stage? Door says 7 but i know there is an opener.

I was there too.
Royal Blood at 7, FF at 8:30.
If you're GA get on line early, was taking 30-60 mins to get in yesterday.

We were supposed to go but bailed at the last minute. You're making me glad we didn't go, I would have felt so awful getting home at 1:30am when my mom was babysitting and had work this morning! I'm too old for that kind of stuff.

The expressway was closed for construction, I think....I was too tired to pay close attention
But I also live out in Suffolk...so that's why it took so long.

The LIRR trains are notoriously bad from Citifield unless you live on the PW line..
You get on a train at Citifield and have to get out at Woodside to transfer to the different train lines - BUT the biggest problem is the connecting trains don't wait.
So many times we've left Met games, the train gets delayed at citifield because of all the people and it gets to woodside a few minutes late, and you miss the connection to change trains so you wait at woodside forever and by the time you get home, you could have easily driven in less time.
only if the train schedule lines up well and the train is on time will it actually work well!

That's why we're driving. Last Foos concert we went to ended after midnight and the next train wasn't coming for over an hour. Not chancing that this time!
