Sleep away camp
I'm getting my DS ready for his first time at sleepaway camp. I already bought him hiking shoes because they were on the list. It also asks for riding boots. Hes only going to be there for two weeks, do you think I really need to get him them? It's not a riding camp so I don't know how many times he would even need them. Can he just ride in his sneakers or hiking shoes?

Re: Sleep away camp
My dd is attending horse camp. The instructors said a boot with a slight heel was fine. Not sure if the hiking boot has a lil heel if they do they might work. Hth

Re: Sleep away camp
I'm sure his hiking boots will be fine he will probably be riding western and the stirups are bigger and have a different foot position. But if he wanted them, Riding shops usually have a beginner pair for around $40.
