Other BF'ing mommies...
How often did your little one eat in the beginning? Connor is eating at least every 2 hours.
Also, I know he is gaining, but I'm still not sure that he's getting enough at each feeding. The last few days it's been more of wanting to eat again right after he eats. Well, within 1/2 hour. He'll eat and seem content for a little bit and then cry or fuss until I feed him again. I just don't think that I have enough milk?
Do you think it's possible that my body is only producing enough milk for an average size baby and not an almost 10.5 lb baby at birth and he's probably over 11 lbs. already. Maybe this is why Caiden always wanted to eat every 1.5-2 hrs when I was nursing him?

can you get a hand pump and see how much you are producing? this can give you an idea of how much each feeding.

I don't think that pumps are the best indication. If he is gaining and has wet diapers you are a-ok. I didn't count in the beginning but I do know that I spent most of the day nursing my 9 pound girl. Their bellies are very little in the beginning, so frequent feedings are to be expected. The fact that he seems content after feeding is another really good sign! Sounds like you are doing a great job.

Do a search online about cluster feeding. My DD did this the first 7 weeks. I wanted to run away and hide but I got through it and now things are great!

Re: Other BF'ing mommies...
In the beginning,my DS was nursing ALL of the time and he was less that 8 pounds at birth. He was cluster feeding, comfort feeding, you name it. But I had plenty of milk because he gained plenty of weight. It starting slowing down by 6 weeks.
