Seems most people want $15-25/hr. I'm Just looking for a mother's helper. I would always be there also.
Is there a way to find that type of help for less money per hour?

I'm In SW Nassau fyi

I got my baby-sitter from care.com and her rate also said $25/hour, but that's not what she charged. I just posted an ad with what I was able to pay and got a ton of responses. I don't think the rates are all that definite.

Agree, I think people click the boxes with the high amounts hoping for the best, I pay my sitter MUCH lower than she has on care.com and she's happy with it.

i got my mother's helper from word of mouth. my friend didn't need her anymore (her kid is old enough now) so i just hired her for my new baby. I pay $10/hr while I'm working from home 9am-4pm 3 days a week
