About Dutch wonderland and places to eat
Never been before. Staying at Eden a fri and sat in August. Going with my SIL and niece and nephews as well (they are teens). We booked the breakfast buffet online when we reserved our room since I saw it had a lot of good reviews and we saved $3 pp doing it that way. So breakfast is done.
For dinner one night I thought it would be fun to do a traditional Amish dinner. Plain n Fancy looked cool since you sit with other people (although not sure about my 3 little ones if we are near someone is not a fan of kids), and DH does not like sitting with other people but he's coming around. I'm like hey we are going away, have to try something different!
What do you think for our second night? Maybe Miller's? Something else?
Unfortunately DH has to work and we won't be able to leave until around 2:30 on Friday. So we will head there then and try to do the preview of the park. Saturday we figured we will do park/hotel. And then Sunday going to hit Crayola Factory on the way home.
I read here that we should bring towels to the park. Should we bring our own or just use the hotels? Any other advice. This is our only vacation we've had since having our kids and we are excited!!!! Boy how times have changed since we used to look forward to our Caribbean vacations.

Re: About Dutch wonderland and places to eat
We just got back. We loved Eden and would go back again. We ate at Plain and Fancy but did the dinner option were only our family sat together and ordered off the menu. I liked the food more at Plain and Fancy then at Hood and Plenty.
We did not do the water park at Dutch Wonderland but people loved it. I'd bring all your own towels and change of clothes. They have lockers or you can store it in the stroller if you bring one.
I wanted to try the Lancaster a Brewing Vompany for dinner or Millers. People said good things about both.
Enjoy yourself. We had so much fun!!
