Play Kitchen
We want to buy DD a play kitchen for her second birthday next month. Any recommendations? I've heard good things about Kid Craft. Thoughts? Also, where do you buy pots/pans, food, etc. Thanks.

I love our kidkraft kitchen. just make sure you have 4-8 hours free to put it together lol!
i got a bunch of different things to fill it up. leftover stuff from our house, some melissa and doug food, a set from target with vegetables and fruit that you can cut and they velcro together, a teapot and teaset that was a gift, lots of stuff from ikea, like the pots and pans were from ikea, etc.

It comes with some plates, cups, pots, pans etc. She also got the Velcro fruit and additional plates and such from either Target or BRU.
She loves it!!!

We love our kidkraft kitchen. Dd had a small plastic one at first and she plays worth this one so much more. It doesn't have add many little features but it has a lot more room for imaginative play imo. I don't think she even realized her old one had a stove because it was so cramped.
We have a few m&d sets including the stainless steel pots, cookies, cupcakes, felt sandwiches, along with a set of plastic foods from target. She also has a tea set and a play set from green toys. Ac moore with coupons and home goods are goods for that stuff.

DD loves her kidkraft kitchen. It's one of her most played-with toys. She has a mix of M&D wood food, the big cheap plastic basket of food from TRU ($10 for like 60 pieces), and some stuff from our kitchen.
She got the M&D pizza, cookie, sandwich, and cutting foods gifts for her bday, all from friends, so your dc may very well get some foods - seems like a big go-to gift for 2nd bdays!
