high back booster with 5 point harness
anyone use a car seat like this for their 2+ year old? I cant seem to find much about them online. We are visiting family and they are willing to purchase a car seat for the visit...dd is 2yrs and 3 months old - 24 lbs. I was thinking this was my best option bc we visit them annually and this would allow the seat to be used for a few more years instead of buying a new one down the line. I dont want them to spend a ton of money
any suggestions?

My DD has a Britax Frontier and I just bought info for my 22 month old DS. It's weight requirement is 25+ lbs. My DS is more than 25lbs.

I can't post a clickable link while mobile - keeps crashing safari.
Here is a link to the recommended combination seats - http://csftl.org/recommended-seats/#combination

We have a Graco Argos and love it - since it's only going to be used while you visit, I would recommend the Graco Nautilus (the main difference is that the straps on the Argos automatically rethread so you don't have to take the seat out of the car to do it - but, if it's not going to be used all of the time, this one is nice but, cheaper)

we have an Evenflo Maestro as an extra seat for DS. i think it was about $80 or so at Target. its a harness that goes to high back booster... i don't know that i would love it for out everyday seat (as far as how easy the staps are, etc)... BUT its definitely great for once in awhile, like you're talking about (We've used it on vacation, and in my moms car when she watched him for a few days) http://www.evenflo.com/Products/Evenflo/Car_Seats/Maestro/
