Haven't seen but I did read a comment about one supposedly being in one of the Freeport canals.

Looks like a reef or nerf shark.
They are usually pretty docile, actually.
I love sharks - they are super important to the ocean and ecosystem and if left alone, they usually leave us alone. This is no great white

There have always been sharks in the bay! When we used to go boating as a child I remember that my dad caught a baby sand shark - it was probably about 3 feet long. The poor thing was petrified and very happy to be off of our boat.

We used to hang a light from an old Dining Room fixture over the canal on a pole in Freeport to see into the water at night. You wouldn't believe what was attracted to the light... , spider crabs, eels, shrimp, nurse sharks, sand sharks... They're all in there. Once, we took 2 sand sharks and threw them into a baby pool filled with salt water. Totally fascinating!

Not the same thing, but I saw this video today, totally interesting!

Also as a side note, I feel sorry for all these whales getting hit by boats. I feel like there has been a lot of them lately!!

I think perhaps she meant to type nurse shark? I don't think there is a nerf shark... unless it's a spongy shark made out of foam.

Auto correct has made the world a much more entertaining place!
Between auto correct and my dad using "voice to text recognition", I am never without a ready source of entertainment!
