Prokids in levittown
Anyone use this pediatric office? Are you happy with them, the staff etc? Do they charge for daycare/school paperwork?
We moved from Queens and I still havent switched our ped yet bc I love ours. I hate to switch but going to Queens all the time (especially if we need a doctors note to get back into daycare) is getting to be a hastle. I am torn about switching and a mom at my DDs daycare mentioned this place.
Thanks!

I live in Levittown and a couple of my friends use them. Most people use Dr. Grillo. I use Bellmore-Merrick Peds and love them.

I use them for my 5 month old and have been very happy so far. There are 5 or 6 doctors and I like all but one of them. I don't think we get the same personalized attention that we would from a solo practitioner, but I'm ok with that.
They are open evenings and weekends which was the main reason I looked into them and getting appointments is very easy.
I'm not sure about charging for paperwork. I needed a form for daycare listing my son's vaccines and they just printed it out for me.

Awesome. Thanks so much for the info. I love our ped now and that is why it is so hard to make the switch. But when we need a doctors note to go back to daycare if she is sick etc..it gets to be a real pain going into Queens. I appreciate the feedback! =)

Re: Prokids in levittown
We've been going there for 5.5 years. There are pros and cons with going with a large practice. The waits can be excessive if you go during a busy time. But they always get my kids in right away when they are sick. My kids love all the doctors. They are open 7 days a week (Sunday sick visits only) and nights. They have a partner after-hours care through their owner, Allied Peds.
They charge $5 if they have to fill out forms, but for just a vaccine printout they don't charge. And there have been times when they didn't charge me for other forms either.
