Window shades/blinds for toddlers' room -help
My DDs have blinds in their room, with the cords cut. When they got tall enough to reach them, they started to mess with them and it became dangerous, of course. I raised the blinds to where they can't reach them, but now that it's light so early and so bright in the afternoon, they're waking up too early and are cranky all day from lack of sleep.
I need a room darkening solution. Can anyone suggest something safe that won't be ripped to shreds?
TIA

I just bought cordless blackout shades from Home Depot. Levelor is the manufacturer. They installed them too.

I got pleated shades from JC Penney ... no string to worry about.

We just bought a levelor room darkening shade for DD's room tonight from lowes. They cut it to the size we needed and DH just put it up in about 10 mins. It's a cordless accordion style shade

Ok. These are dark! I just had to turn a light on in DD's room to see anything.
