I have a question about filing unemployment
I'm not sure where else to ask this question so I thought maybe someone here can help me. I was married in May and let go from my job in June. My last day is in two weeks. I'm then filing unemployment. I have legally changed my name about two weeks ago if that. All my company records have one name and Social Security has another name. I can't get through to anybody at unemployment on what name I should file under.

file under your name with SS, make sure that your job (even though you are leaving) has your information for your name change.
