So I never posted about attending the Tonys
I'm pressed for time - work has been insane. Finally taking a bit of a lunch break now.
The show was a load of fun. I'm not a Kristen Chenowith fan but I'll give credit where it's due - she and Alan Cumming had great chemistry together as co-hosts.
The musical numbers were, for the most part, so great! I haven't watched the broadcast yet but I sure hope they translated well on television. Fun Home. What a performance!!!!
The coolest thing happened during a commercial break. I was sitting in the orchestra, right off the aisle, and Dame Helen Mirren herself was standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME looking fabulous as all get-out, holding her Tony Award in one hand and a glass of Champagne in the other. Just casually taking a break.
My jaw is still on the floor of Radio City
