Camping - what to bring?

So, we booked a camping weekend with a bunch of families. All sleeping outside in tents. Ugh! LOL!
Already got a 10 person tent for the 4 of us. Got a couple of air mattresses, sleeping bags for the boys and of course I know sunscreen and bug spray. Lots of bug spray!! Chat Icon

We are getting together with the families (really an excuse to get together anyway) and discuss what everyone is bringing so we don't have double. Like two families can bring the grills, tarps, pooling money for food and the extra we'll do our own, paper plates, cups... juice boxes, lots of water, alcohol, etc.
Thinking Benedryl and after bite stuff.

Any other ideas? My boys are 6 and almost 4. The kids are all different ages so they'll play together.

Oh, and of course stuff to make smores.

What else do I need? I don't even know how we'll get everything in our SUV.

Make sure you bring plenty of blankets. It could get rather cold outside at night at any time of the year.

Bikes!!!!! I just got back from camping and my DS loved being on his bike. We also made sure we brought a ton of toys for them to play with. I brought my ipad for nighttime to try and get him to settle down a bit before bed.....when we are camping he is going the entire time and it can be hard to quiet him down.

Re: Camping - what to bring?

Extra garbage bags, extra toilet paper. I also bring those little pop up screen tents to cover food on the tables so bugs cant get to it.

I would also bring a tarp of some sort to string up over the picnic tables/coolers in case of rain.

Sweatshirts and sweatpants for night time when the temps drop.

We bring a mini kettle that goes on the grill grates so that we can boil water for coffee in the mornings too.
