I'm in Lego he!! How do you organize? !
My son is now obsessed with Lego's so I have pieces and sets everywhere! I've been trying to keep them together in ziploc bags then in a plastic bin but it's so messy still.
How do you store your kids Lego's??

We had a lego bin and we kept getting more so got a plastic bin at Target and throw them all in there.

We had a lego bin and we kept getting more so got a plastic bin at Target and throw them all in there.
This is what we did growing up. There was also a rule in the house that if the legos were kept out they would get thrown out.

Fishing tackle boxes make awesome organizers/carriers. They come in tons of sizes, with divided drawers for small pieces, and larger areas for partially completed projects. Also, since they aren't "LEGO" branded, and just for fishing, they are relatively cheap.

Great tip about the tackle boxes!! Thanks! ! I like the ikea drawer idea too
He's only 4.5 so he wants to keep the sets together (as best as we can) because, as he says, he's not a "master builder" yet and can't always find what he needs. Lol

In that case, I would take the ikea drawers and instead of writing the colors on them, I would organize them by set. You can write the name of it or do it by picture... Also, do you shop at bulk stores? If you didn't want to buy furniture of some sort, you can reuse some of those plastic bins. here are some extra ideas.

I love these ideas! My DS has recently become lego obsessed and discovered my DH's lego star wars stash, so we have friggin star wars lego ships ALL OVER MY HOUSE. the boxes and bags and bits are driving me nuts. We got DS a small plastic drawer unit to put regular pieces in, but its no where near big enough for all the sets he wants to play with.
I like the shoe boxes with the picture of the set on it.. we do that for puzzles and other toys now too.
