The Duggar Family Identifies Jill and Jessa as Josh's Molestation Victims
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are sitting down with Fox News journalist Megyn Kelly on Wednesday in their first interview since a 2006 police report surfaced on May 20 which alleged that their eldest son, Josh, had molested five underage girls as a teen.
In a promo for the interview, Michelle, 48, says that there was "so much grief in our hearts" when their son approached them to confess what he had done. "I think, as parents, we felt, 'We're failures.' "
Added the 19 Kids and Counting star: "We've tried to raise our kids to do what's right – to know what's right – and yet one of our children made some really bad choices and I think, as a parent, just … we were devastated."
In a press release sent by Fox, the network states that Kelly will also be interviewing Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard and identifies them as two of Josh's victims.

UGH these people are the worst
I looked at the TV guide info about the interview tonight and it says the parents talk about the mold station allegations "surrounding their son" - HOW ABOUT THE ViCTIMS! They continue to miss the point and I feel terribly for these poor girls. I can't imagine why the girls would want to come on tv and talk about this, either. It's all manipulation to keep the show on the air.

Of course they are, they have been brainwashed for years and told THEY were the problem, NOT him.

Watching it and already JB is diminishing what happened...they let it happen 3 times before they did anything!!!!! JB had the audacity to say "it wasn't rape...he touched them over their clothes"

I had the same thought. How on earth does any parent actually handle this situation? What is the perfect solution. I can't even imagine it.
I do wonder if it actually was just over the clothes. I am not saying that is any better but I pray that is all it actually was. Who knows if they are diminishing it.

Well, they sent him way to get help. I think in their mind they thought they were doing the best thing for their family. I would bet a lot of hardcore Christians would react this same exact way in a situation like this.
Jim Bob keeps saying that Josh told them, but I thought I read that they saw him coming out of the girls' bedroom one night?

Alright. I'm going to say it. I feel they did what they thought was best at the time. And I keep thinking .. What DO you do? (As I posted above.)
I mean he even told his future wife.. I don't get it myself. Why any woman would want him after being told that. I don't agree with their religious beliefs or how they live their life but with this situation - what does one do? No one would want this. Or to see their other kids suffer. Or have the kids have hate in their heart for a sibling.
Just a ****** situation.
Shows they aren't Perfect that's for sure. Maybe now they can stop spouting how marriage is just for straight people and stop acting high and mighty.

I also don't get how they keep saying the girls had no idea that they were touched, but then say that they poured their hearts out to the police department, and told them everything that happened. I feel like they are contradicting themselves a lot.
I do think it's disgusting that the police department leaked this, thus victimizing these girls all over again.

I think it's ridiculous that they keep referring to the police report as being "illegally leaked." The report was requested through a Freedom of Information Act request and all the names were redacted. Totally legal.

All lies. It was disgusting. So many contridictions. Now the girls did not know until they told them? ********. It is in the police reports and they said they poured their hearts out to the police. They couldn't even keep their stories straight.

Yes, that statistic is correct. 1 in 5 girls are sexually abused. It is soooo much more common than many people realize. It's outrageous how we are taught not to talk about it.

Yes, that statistic is correct. 1 in 5 girls are sexually abused. It is soooo much more common than many people realize. It's outrageous how we are taught not to talk about it.
That's really horrifying and hard to wrap my head around. Like I'm thinking of an average classroom size. It's just mind boggling.
