Summer Activities for a 2 year old
Hi all, I'm looking for little camps/play groups for my 2 year old. I've been looking at some 1/2 day camps for 2 days a week for anywhere from $1000-$1500 for the summer. That just seems crazy to me. Does anyone have any suggestions for places I can take my DD to be able to play with other kids her age on a semi-regular basis? Thank you!

Gymboree offers an unlimited class option for the summer.

Summer Activities for a 2 year old
Playhooray at local libraries is great, the recreation centers often offer tumbling, gymnastics, music classes etc. also, check out music Together in your area.

Where are you located? Some of your local nursery/preschool programs usually have a summer program you can do 2+ days a week. They use to be reasonably priced. I know M.A.T.T.S has programs for little ones not sure of the cost. They have a location in Syosset and Bellmore.

Suffolk County farm in yaphank has cute classes. Usually $10 per class.

Check out "MY GYM" -- their locations have summer camp options.
Also, not sure if you live near East Setauket but Benner's Farm offers summer programs and they are very reasonable.
