Can I make an odd number ounce bottle with a 1/2 scoop?
I apologize if this is a silly question. DD is currently drinking 3 ounces -- instructions on powder formula only give you even number ounces. To make a 2 ounce bottle, you use 1 scoop of powder formula and to make a 4 ounce bottle, you use 2 scoops. Does that mean you can use 1 and 1/2 scoops to make a 3 ounce bottle?

Yep! You def can.
I got the dr Browns formula pitcher and just mixed up a pitcher for the day. Was super convenient and helped w the odd number ounce bottles. Might be worth looking into!

I just asked my ped this question bc some people said that you couldn't. But he said you def can. DD is drinking 5 ounces so I need to use 2 1/2 scoops.

I have done it with both of my kids. I always eyeballed the 1/2 scoop.
