I watched this show and wanted to believe they were good people even though I didn't agree with some of their beliefs. But they were just too perfect and happy. You never saw anything bad, like the little ones fighting, they are kids. It was just too perfect to be normal. And I'm not talking about drama, just normal sibling spats or family conflict. That's what bugs me about the fanatic religious people.
This whole story is just disgusting beyond words and I feel for those poor girls. The parents statement made it worse.
This is edited "reality" TV, so of course they aren't going to show the parts that don't go with the "painted" picture TLC has created.
I understand it's edited but I mean like even a clip of the little toddlers fighting over a toy. It's just too perfect and suspect, so it made me believe the rumors that the kids are suppose to always be happy and smiling or they get punished. That's what I was referring to. TLC can't show kids being kids? It seemed like a facade, 19 kids always getting along.
But it's over now, I wonder if we will get any rebellions now. I thought Jessa was going to be the one for some reason after she got married but then she got pregnant.

And SICK azz motherfukers are on TLC's fb page posting about how they will boycott TLC until they bring the Duggars back and how Josh was just a kid when it happened and everyone makes a mistake and it was dealt with back then and who does TLC think they are judging him and this family blah blah blah vomit vomit vomit.
Some people are such sheep afraid to waste two brain cells for fear of having an original thought. It's truly frightening.
P.S. I'm glad TLC finally did something.... but, I give the network very little credit as I feel they've given these freakshow bigots a national platform for far too long to spread their hate mongering without ever pulling their little cash cow... instead airing marathons whenever they did something fuked up towards gays which is a huge proverbial slap in the face of all those struggling for equal rights in this day and age. So we knew all along where TLC stood when it came to bigotry. Effing OPRAH knew about this scandal back in like 2006 and launched an investigation... so TLC HAD TO HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS CIRCLING AND ALONG WITH THE DUGGARS WAS JUST PRAYING NOTHING WOULD EVER COME OF IT EXCEPT UNCONFIRMED INTERNET RUMORS... well, now that the beast has been unleashed so to speak TLC is pulling the show because there is no saving grace here, they HAVE to distance themselves from this family of freaks after this surfaced... especially with the honey boo boo scandal less than a year ago.
