I am all over the place with daycare/activities for my kids

I am so stressed out over this!! So the preschool that DS will go to in Sept. for Pre-K does not have a 2 yr old program, so we have my 2 yr old enrolled in a full time child care center. In September my twins will be turning 6 months, and I will be headed back to work. I work 3 days a week, I will be home with toddler & twins Mon & Fri. So, right now this is the schedule we are looking at and it looks crazy! What was I thinking!!

Tues/Wed/Thurs
DH will drop 2 yr old DS off at daycare at 8:00
I will drop 4 yr old DS at pre-k at 8:20, my inlaws will come to my house at 8 to watch the girls.
They will pick up 4 yr old at 2:20 from Pre-K and be with 3 kids until DH picks up middle one from daycare and arrives home at 5. I will get home around 5:45.
On Monday & Friday I will be home with my 3 younger ones & I will d/o & p/u oldest from Pre-K.
Is there any better alternative? Does this sound doable? I am looking forward to going back to work but dreading it at the same time just because of the chaos!!
My in laws have been so good in offering to watch the kids for us. They are young- 53 & 55, but that doesn't mean it will be easy. They own their own business so they can be flexible with how often they go into work and they adore being around their grandkids. Another option is to put Pre-K DS in the aftercare program at Pre-K and I will pick him up around 5:30. So in laws only have the twins. Ahhh! Help!!

Honestly, it doesn't sound bad at all. The tasks seem pretty evenly distributed among you, your DH, and inlaws. You'll be fine!!

It sounds busy but doable. The only thing I would maybe try to change is your d/o & p/u from preschool. I can see getting everyone out of the house on time being tough.

it sounds doable- but busy but with 4 kids, its gonna be busy no matter what!
the only thing i would change is have your DH still drop off your oldest at pre-k on the days you're off. it will probably be tough for you to get yourself and the 4 kids out the door on time in the AMs to do the pre-K drop off. afternoons will probably be easier for you (although 2:20 will probably start to run into the younger ones nap times at some point... so might be a tough time to get them up and out to go pick up DS) but i would definitely have DH still do the AM drop-off.... and you can see how it goes picking him up in the afternoons- if its too tough, then do the aftercare.
