Girls night away
I'm going away for a night with my friend in June. We're just starting to plan it now and want it to be within a couple hours driving distance. So far we have thought about Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods and the Norwich Inn. Any other suggestions? We don't want to do Atlantic City.

I've gone to Greenport the past several years with my girlfriends. Hit the vineyards on the way down, nice dinner, beach the next day, another nice dinner and drinks--maybe dancing at Claudio's...farmers markets on the way back. Perfect weekend!

I'd do Mohegan over Foxwoods. Great spa, really nice hotel, awesome restaurants and bars, shopping.
I don't really gamble and love it there
On the way there or back you can maybe hit a vineyard or two- the ferry is at the end of the road where all the vineyards are!

Another vote for mohegan! We do it every year for a girls weekend and love it! So many great restaurants!

The past two years we stayed at Bartlett House B&B and I could not say enough nice things about it; however, the owners sold it and it's now known as Tapestry House and I don't know how/if it's changed in any way. The year before that we stayed at The Greenporter which we liked too, although it's a motel...has a pool too. Both are within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. In the future, I'd like to stay at The Harborfront because I heard it's great.
