What kind of edible favor would you do?
My DDs birthday is next month. We are only having a family party of 25 people. There are 3 teenagers and one baby. I wanted to do an edible favor for everyone but am not sure what to do. Maybe a cookie? or cake pop?
She doesn't really have a theme. I am doing pinks, purples and the plates/napkins etc are
If I did a cookie what design would you do for a 1 yr old? Also, my cake might be Minnie Mouse themed. Is that stupid, does it all need to match?

I like the idea of a cookie favor. The one cookies posted above are really cute! If you decide to go with a Minnie mouse cake you could do Minnie mouse cookies- you can tie it into the theme with the butterflies by having the cake done in the same colors- you could have the cake designed with some flowers and butterflies in a similar style to the plates you post with Minnie mouse.

chocolate covered oreos. They have different molds of designs you can do... my friend did these for me for both my baby shower and DS christening and they came out awesome and everyone gobbled them up.

For my daughters bday we are doing chocolate cupcakes inside a little flower pot with a flower cookie flower in it.. plus we will put a few little flower seeds with the favor so the pot is reusable.. It kind of covered all bases
This kind of idea.. but I got much cheaper plastic flower pots.

Re: What kind of edible favor would you do?
I'd def do a butterfly theme, like a butterfly sugar cookie or chocolate lollipops in a butterfly mold. I think the cake should be flowers or butterflies in similar colors. I am very matchy-matchy though. I like the theme to be throughout the entire party.

We used Laura the Cookie Lady and she did a Sophie la Giraffe cookie to go with our theme. She does such great work. You can check her out on FB! I have pics from my party in my album. HTH!

Oh LORD.
Damn. I forget but I know she's reasonable and gave an LIF discount.
I would just email her and she can quote you 1-2-3.
Sorry Mama brain!!!
ETA - it was nice because she used Andrea from AndreaLP Designs for the tags - they were custom and adorable. So, it was a one-stop-shop.

She's SO great.
I have used her like a billion times - showers, birthday parties. I used her for my baby shower and she did a Peter Rabbit cookie! Pics of that are in my album too. The tags were the HIT!

I had an elmo theme and I made elmo cake pops. What a pain in my ass. Such a long time and so tedious and annoying. I refused to even eat one after the fact. Next year I am paying someone lol

It's close to 4.00 per cookie and then shipping since she's in PA now.
She books very far in advance.
I just actually ordered the cupcake favor packs from Baked By Melissa and they were 3.00 per pack and you choose your 3 flavors. I know it's one of our favorite cupcake spots in the city so I'm sure guests will love them too.BAKED BY MELISSA
