when did you start your baby on them? and how many jars a day?

We never did stage 3 because by the time she was ready to move on from stage 2 she was refusing baby food and so we just started gving her all table foods.
How old is your baby?

I started probably around 9 mos. As I recall, DD probably ate around 1 whole jar per day...1/2 for lunch and 1/2 at dinner.
My doctor did not recommend the stage 3 foods since he felt babies could become easily confused since it's partially pureed and partially tiny bits of whole food. I did it anyway, but it never really "took off" since she started eating table food around that time too. So maybe she was only eating them for 2 months if that. She preferred table food.

I never paid close enough attention to tell you the when or how many. When your child has tried all the stage 2 and is looking for more, go to stage 3. Just be sure to watch the ingredients based on age because they tend to have more variety in a single jar.

We never really did it either. I tried but he gagged every time (although a few times I would mix stage 3 fruit with cereal).
