More potty training help.....something besides pull ups?

So I posted a while back about my 4 year old DS being very resistant about using the potty. I've tried taking pull ups away, letting him go bottomless, rewards, stickers nothing worked. Until I took the binky away from his baby brother and said the "binky fairy" came. My older DS got all into it and told my youngest that it's ok, the binky fairy left you a present. So I decided to use the "pull up fairy" with DS. He woke up one morning and the pull ups were gone and replaced with big boy underwear and a note that said once he is fully potty trained with no accidents during the day he will get his own set of golf clubs. He's been doing fantastic. Some accidents here and there but for the most part telling me he has to go and actually using the potty. My question is, it's currently spring break and he's not in school. I have not used a pull up since we started this last week on Wednesday. We've gone out and he's been fine. When he goes back to school I'd hate to use a pull up on him. Is there anything else I can use to absorb a little better in case he has an accident at school? Do they make anything like this? I don't want to use a pull up unless I absolutely have to. TIA!

They do sell training underwear that is thicker and more absorbent. I'm sure preschool teachers have dealt with plenty of accidents but that would help contain it to an extent.

i would send him in underware and send in lots of undies and pants. The only way he will continue to do well is out of anything that resembles a diaper or pullup.

I agree. Send him in underwear with lots of spares. I'm sure preschool teachers deal with it all the time. If for some reason he has a ton of accidents the first day back you can reassess and buy something then if necessary.

This. By doing any sort of "training pants" will be a step back. I sent in 5 pairs of underwear and pants when ds was training
