does your 3.5yo dc have any plans this summer?
was thinking of sending ds to camp over the summer. he'll be 3.5yo....but i wanted to look into other options because the hours run into his naptime. what are some of your plans for your dc?

does your 3.5yo dc have any plans this summer?
He will be in "camp" at his existing school. It is really just summer school, not much different than his regular class. I just want to keep his routine going because he enjoys it. 3 days a week 9am-1130.

DD 4 will do a summer dance class that is once a week for a few weeks and she is doing theater camp that is 2 1/2 hrs twice a week for 5 weeks

DS will be 4 next month, he is going to camp for 4 weeks, every day, the bus picks him up at 8:30 and drops him off at 4:30. For the month of August we will just hang out by the town pool, go to the zoo, aquarium, Adventure Land, etc. No summer vacation this year since I had twins 4 weeks ago, so we are trying to keep everyone very busy!

No, but she will start preschool in September.
We are going to spend the summer in the backyard & outside.

I'm signing him up for summer camp. It's called Organic Kids, it's a 12 week program but they're very flexible with the amount of weeks u wanna sign up which was very important for me considering I'm due Aug 5th. They meet 2 times a week for 2 hrs and do all sorts of exploring, activities with recycled and organic materials, etc. also the price is not bad, messages me in u want more info

At that age my girls were in camp mon to Thursday 9-1 they stopped napping around 2 though
I don't know if u plan on school in sept how many days and hours you might need to start thinking about dropping the nap anyway soon

I signed my DD up for a 3 week summer camp at her current school. And I'm going to sign her up for a dance class since she's been asking to do one for awhile.

last summer when DS was 3.5, i sent him to a little camp that our school district runs. We live in NJ though. but its basically for 3-5 year olds (those not in K yet). its at one of our towns schools, and staffed by teachers from the district. it goes form 8:30-11, 3 AMs a week. its great! gets him out, around other kids (he's an only child) but we still have time for playing outside, the beach, whatever afterward it runs for 6 weeks... you can sign up for 3 weeks, or all 6 weeks.
wonder if your school district has something like that?? or sometimes museums or farms or whatever might have little drop off camps for kids that age... or the YMCA??

A little camp at the beach club we go to. I think it is maybe 3 days a week, from 10-1. He hasn't napped in over a year so he needs a little something to do.

My son's school runs a little camp, he went last year, they so a lot of fun activities but nothing too crazy as it is a preschool camp, he loves it.

Same for my dd but she is 4. It's only 6 weeks long but it will be good for her to keep in some type of routine since she heads to kindergarden in the fall.
