Help, infant on Disney Cruise next week-questions
We are going next week, and my Nephew will be 5 months. He is on powdered formula. Is bottled water available and is there a place for my SIL to wash the bottles?
Disney phone lines were down yesterday, and we can't get through today.
Any ideas???

Help, infant on Disney Cruise next week-questions
Can't speak for Disney cruise specifically, but all cruises I have been on have bottled water available in the gift shop, room service, turndown service, etc. as for washing them, wash them in any bathroom sink. I travel with a portable oxo bottle drying rack which also comes with a brush.

I went on a Carnival Cruise and you could bring a case of bottled water with you. I would check with the cruise line.

I would bring your own bottled water, it's like $48 a case or something like that. Their water is filtered on the ship though, so equally as good as bottled IMO. You can wash bottles in your room sinks. There are two sinks in most staterooms. Bring dish soap and I would also bring liquid hand soap since you will be washing your hands a lot, and the bar soap is not great for hand washing. There is zero counter space in the bathrooms to dry the bottles, but you could put a towel down on the desk and dry them there.

Help, infant on Disney Cruise next week-questions
I thought infants aren't allowed on cruises until 6 months? Didn't Disney raise the age last year?

Q: What is the minimum age to cruise? A: Your child needs to be at least 6 months of age on the day of sailing for most itineraries. The minimum age for Transatlantic, Hawaii, and Panama Canal itineraries is 1 year of age on the day of sailing.

Maybe they booked prior to the new rule

Help, infant on Disney Cruise next week-questions
My ds was 7 months. I used the tap water to make bottles, and I washed the bottles in the bathroom sink. The water on board is perfectly safe to drink and I used tap water at home so it was fine for us. I brought a bottle of dish washing liquid. I think there was a little shelf where I set them to dry. As pp noted you will have 2 sinks.

I personally would bring my own bottled water in my luggage. I would also take one of those water boilers to sanitize.
It's been a while since we used bottles but we always ran them through the dishwasher or boiled them. I personally wouldn't think the bottles would can clean enough by just hand washing in the sink.
When we went to the dominican republic, we took our own bottled water and a bottle sanitizer.

If you have a brush then washing them in the sink will be fine. I used bottles and never did anything but wash by hand.

Help, infant on Disney Cruise next week-questions
I agree with the previous posters about washing in the sink and bringing dish soap and bottle brush. They sell bottled water on the ship. I just got back yesterday from the dream so feel free to fm me with any questions.

We always wash by hand w/ a brush. On occasion we'll run them through the dishwasher. I'd also bring bottled water b/c it's much cheaper than buying on board. I'd bring a small bottle of like Dawn or some dishwashing liquid so you're not using hand soap.
