Info on circumcision
Any site reccos for information?
Leaving this decision in dh's hands as he knows my thinking on it. Just trying to see if there are fact based sites to help educate ourselves on pros/cons etc
We don't have a religious based reason to do it

Info on circumcision
I don't have info for doing or not doing it. I just want to give you my story with it. We decided to wait and not do it in the hospital. We were not sure and my dr would not do it unless we were 100%.
Once you leave a dr will not do it until after 6 months. They need to put them completely under. To this day I wish I had done it in the hospital. So I can't offer advice on whether to do it or not but highly suggest if you are going to do it not to wait til later.

This is not true. Several of my friends recently chose to have their sons circumcised outside of a hospital setting, within the first 2 weeks of life.
ETA: none of the babies received anesthesia beyond a local or topical anesthetic.
