Egg Hunt at Home ideas
This Sunday early in the morning, I'm hosting a simple egg hunt in my backyard. Besides, the obvious , what else can I do? I'm thinking setting up a big table and have crayons and coloring sheets with stickers. I'm setting up a coffee urn for the parents. I just want to keep it simple and fun.

Maybe have an egg decorating table? Pin the tail on Peter cottontail? Guess the number of jelly beans in the jar?

Go check out dollar tree, they have some Easter crafts that may work. I out paint your own bunny kits in all the kids Easter baskets.

Re: Egg Hunt at Home ideas
How old are the kids?
Besides the egg hunt, I would do an egg decorating table, but that needs at least 1 adult.
If young: I would have adult color the eggs (let kid pick color) and let kids decorate with stickers.
If older: let kids color on eggs with white crayon. Then dip eggs & see white designs.
If even older: the coloring can be in layers: White crayon & then dip in yellow, white crayon on areas you want yellow & dip in blue. You can get a white, yellow & green egg.

Re: Egg Hunt at Home ideas
I wouldn't want to deal with the mess of x number of children coloring eggs - I agree with the coloring pages - you can make them Easter themed - Or, even cut out big egg shaped poster board and let them 'decorate' those eggs ........
If the weather is nice, kids are perfectly happy to run around and play with each other. They don't need 50 organized, forced activities. Get a fat bat and wiffle ball, a soccer ball, some hula hoops .........out door toys - they'll have a great time.

Re: Egg Hunt at Home ideas
Two Moms run one in our neighborhood and they set up tables to decorate your own bag (like a little gift bag) with stickers, crayons, etc. and the kids use the bags to hold their eggs during the hunt.
