Meatballs?
DS had some meatball and loves it! But he is 11 mos and has not been introduced to eggs yet. Any thoughts on whether this is ok?

I think its ok...but I introduced eggs before a year. By a year my doctor wanted dd to have had everything except honey.

DS was definitely eating meatballs by then. And cookies, French toast and cake, all of which have eggs in it. I think it's fine. It's such a small amount. But now that I'm thinking about it, I think he started on scrambled eggs around 10 months or so. Did they change "the rules" that babies can't have eggs until a certain age?

This is what I remember...no honey, strawberries or peanut butter before 1.

My kids had eggs by 6 mos i believe. They had to have them to see if they were able to have the flu shot. Its fine

Meatballs?
Dd had meatballs from about 8 months. I didn't even know that meatballs have egg in it. She had eggs around 9 months. Peanut butter at 11.5 months.

I was never told anything was off limits ever
She had eggs, strawberries, honey, peanut butter, whatever whenever
Docs never said a word. Never asked. Never warned.
It wasn't until over 1 I even learned about this stuff (thanks to LIF) but by then it was too late so I guess she's fine.

DS has been having eggs since 9 months. He's been eating meatballs since then too. DS will be 11 months tonorrow and has peanut butter, strawberries, and shrimp in addition to eggs.
The only thing I won't like DC have is honey.
