Sick child - what to do?
My 2yr old child keeps throwing up. Forgive me I have never had to deal with this. What should I look for and what point should I bring her to the doctor? She doesn't have a fever or anything but she threw up twice and then once in her sleep. I have a 2 week old baby in the house now I'm super paranoid but I'm not sure if it's just something she ate.

The main thing is to make sure she stays hydrated. Let her take a small sip about a half hour after she last vomited. I would give some ginger ale or water. If she can hold it down for 15 minutes, then let her drink a bit more. I would call the ped if she is still vomiting a lot by the morning just to see when and if they want to see her.
Make sure you wash your hands really good and use bleach to clean up any messes. Wipe down all surfaces and door handles etc.

And if it's possible, try to have one of you care for your sick dd, and one of you care for your newborn.
I remember my older DS had the stomach bug right when I got home with my younger one. I had DH take care of sick DS, and I camped out on an air mattress in our playroom with the baby.

Ah....we had this happen at Xmas.
We gave DD pedialyte per our pediatrician's recommendation. He also recommended light food like jello, saltines, etc.
As the other PP stated, hydration is the most important. Keep the fluids going. If it continues, call your pediatrician. It lasted 24-36 hours in our house.
As for washing, wash everything from bed and blankets in hot water to kill off the germs (make sure any chunks are removed first) and add borax to the washer. I did that and it not only helped get the sheets and blankets clean, but also removed the smell. I now keep it on hand in my laundry area should it ever happen again.

Thank you for the replies looks like we are faring better today and keeping down liquids. Hopefully the worst is over

This! Hydration is key. If shes not holding anything down try pedialyte pops.
And when she can hold.food down do the brat diet (bananas, rice, apples, toast) and again try water, try watering down the ginger ale if she doesnt like it.
And spray everything down with lysol or lysol wipes. I mean everything! Door handles, toilet, fridge door, cabinets anything she touches... even in her room and change sheets when shs feeling better.

Same happened to my 2 year old in February. It was a virus that we just had to let take it's course. Made sure we kept her hydrated with pedialite and gave her toast to start. She slept so much. We did Lysol the entire house. It's very contagious though. By the third day, my daughter, myself, and my husband all had it.
