Question about my gym birthdays?

I'm still undecided on where to have DS's 3rd birthday party. Chuck e cheese was a possibility. We were going to have it ag skyzone, but I decided against it. I hear my gym is great. But my question is, what about the older kids? Is it fun for them too? We have 1 kid that will be a month shy from 2 years old. Then we have about ten 3-5 year olds and a 7, 8 and 9 year old. Will the 7,8 and 9 year olds have fun? They are my nephews and my niece so they will definitely be at the party. TIA!

Question about my gym birthdays?

I struggled with the same thing. I think that my gym parties are great for the 1-4 age but I didn't think that the older kids would really enjoy it. Of course the party really is about the birthday child but I could not get over the fact that there would be a few kids that would not have as good of a time. We also had a few 5 and 6 year olds that were going to be there. We ended up having the party at Bounce U instead of My Gym and it was great.

Re: Question about my gym birthdays?

IMO 7, 8 and 9 year olds won't have anything to do at the party if it's at My Gym. The party will be geared towards the younger kids. It's tough to accommodate such a big age range, no matter what.

Re: Question about my gym birthdays?

I agree that My Gym parties are really more appropriate for younger age range. We have a big family and had a joint party for my 4 & 6 yo and everyone had a great time. You aren't paying per child which is good. I think your nieces and nephews wouldn't really enjoy the play part of party they could certainly attend, play with younger kids and be part of pizza cake.

I think the birthday child would have a great time and the majority of the kids invited so I say go for it!

I was going to do pump it up for him but I had my twins' last 2 birthday parties there. It'll be the same kids for the most part so I thought that may be over doing it Chat Icon

Question about my gym birthdays?

My daughters bday party was there this past weekend. We didn't invite my 8yo nephew bc i had heard that there was a limit age of 5. Glad I didn't invite him bc there would have been nothing for him to do. I'd say 5 is a good limit.

Thanks! I'm not going to have his party there then. My nieces and nephews would be so upset if they couldn't celebrate their cousins birthday.

We did a separate family party at home b/c there was no way we could have all of our family come to My Gym.

Have you thought about Wood Kingdom? They have stuff for all of those age ranges.
