Napa/Sonoma & Monterey (Pebble Beach) - Reccomendations?
DH and I booked our 10th anniversary trip -
We'll be in Napa/Sonoma for 3 days, at the Kenwood Inn, the Monterey Penninsula for 2 at the Inn at Spanish Bay, and then San Diego for a day (well 2, but there's a family wedding the second day) so it's really only 1 day - we're at the hotel where the wedding is Corranado something I think .........
We've done Napa/Sonoma before - but would love your opinions on restaurants or must visit wineries/tasting rooms. We are members at Cake Bread, and have Stags Leap on our list as it's a favorite - but I like to find other 'hidden gems' -
Any suggestions/tips are appreciated !! TIA !!

Ridge is one of my favorite wineries.
For restaurants I would recommend The Girl & The Fig, Ad Hoc, & Harvest Moon Cafe

Loved Staggs Leap! Check out Brion Wise - amazing wine and the most spectacular wine cave ever! Also really loved Joseph Phipps. We hired a private "wine guide" who escorted us to 4 or 5 different wineries, set up tastings and suggested great restaurants. It was well worth the money

I think domain Chandon is a nice change of pace from the regular vineyards (plus I love champagne!). The grounds are beautiful. Also love Luna and regusci vineyards. Hess is nice too.

If you can get into French Laundry, that's the best there is.
Others: Brunch at Bouchon Press Ad Hoc Coles chop house

We couldn't get a reservation at French laundry (late planning), we even tried to walk in.
Went to the next best place Auberge du Soleil, a Michelin star rated restaurant. The meal was superb and the views were stunning. It's up in the hills with indoor and outdoor dining. Such a beautiful view of the wineries and we were able to watch the sunset. It was perfect.

Also recommend auberge du soleil. We had lunch on the balcony, and we're able to really take in the gorgeous views.
We did a wine blending class at Joseph Phelps which was great. They also brought out a bottle of their special insignia blend which was worth taking the class.
