Activities before party entertainment
My DS bday party is this weekend. I have the kids coming at 10:30 and a lady will be doing an hour long animal show at 11:00. The room that it will be in has a small indoor jungle gym, toys, ride-ons, etc... Do you think that's fine for the first half hour? Or should I come up with some sort of activity? Maybe just coloring pages and crayons? Or just let the kids play for a half hour?

Activities before party entertainment
just letting the kids play will be fine. the half hour will go quick and I am sure not everyone will be there at exactly 10:30 anyway

That's exactly what I was thinking initially, and then I started second guessing myself.

That's exactly what I was thinking initially, and then I started second guessing myself.
I wouldn't be surprised if you have trouble getting the kids to get way from them playing with the indoor jungle gym etc.
